Dock Leveler Repair

Dock Leveler Repair

C-Mech have over 40 years of experience, both in performing reactive repairs and the maintenance of Dock Levelers from a variety of UK manufacturers.

Our expertise covers several styles of Dock Levelers, including Hinged Lip, Telescopic Lip, Manual and Hydraulic, so we are fully equipped in dealing with the repairs and servicing faced by our customers on a daily basis. As a customer, you can rest assured that we can provide a trustworthy and reliable service regardless of whether you have equipment from just one manufacturer or from several.

We understand that safe and working Dock Levelers are essential to your loading and unloading operations so we strive to provide a fast response and a first visit fix wherever possible. When you call our office you will always be able to speak with an experienced Sales Engineer who will understand the nature of the fault and will organise an appropriate response. This may mean purely sending one of our repair teams, a controls electrician or a surveyor, or scheduling a team to respond with a welder or generator for heavy on-site welding.

Dock Levelers work in conjunction with Loading Bays, and act to bridge the gap between the vehicle bed and the conjoining building floor. Hinged Lip Dock Levelers and Telescopic Lip Dock Levelers are two of the most common varieties that we work with and have separate and unique benefits. Hinged Lip Dock Levelers are designed so that the platform is raised to its highest position before the hinged lip is extended and then lowered onto the vehicle deck to allow a flawless procedure, whereas the Telescopic Lip Dock Levelers have the benefit of allowing vehicles to be loaded and unloaded to or from the very end of the vehicle.
